DIY painted wooden blocks

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not very crafty (even though I attempt to be sometimes!) but the wonderful Beci Orpin has inspired me to get on to this one.  Painted wooden blocks with personality.  We love.

What? an iPotty?

An entertaining ‘incentive’ for children to use the toilet, or just technology overload?

Yes, that’s right – this training toilet comes complete with an inbuilt iPad dock to entertain your toddler during the toilet training stage.  The iPotty will be available at Amazon from March and will retail at US$40.

Would you buy this for your little one, or will you be sticking with the traditional reward chart and stickers?

Bu! Blankie by Little Red Stuga

Introducing the Bu! Blankie, from Swedish design company Little Red Stuga.

You most likely would have not seen this concept before, which is why it makes such a unique, practical and fun gift.

This is not your standard blankie.  It offers open ended play opportunities – from good old peek-a-boo, through to character and role playing for toddlers.

And once your little one is done playing with Bu! they can snuggle up with it.  It’s the perfect take anywhere size which means that it’s bound to become your little one’s new bestie.

For further details, check it out here.

Pineapple obsession

Yes.  You read correctly.

Pineapples are the new ‘it’ thing apparently and I am loving them.  I am obsessing over these Pineapple Lamps.  Need to get myself one.  Or maybe add it to my Christmas wishlist ….

Oh, and I still think that pineapples do not belong on pizzas.  Do you agree?
