I’ll be the first to admit I’m not very crafty (even though I attempt to be sometimes!) but the wonderful Beci Orpin has inspired me to get on to this one. Painted wooden blocks with personality. We love.

If you have a little one that loves playing in the sand, then this outdoor idea is for you. All you need is a boat and some sand.
What a wonderful feature this would make in a backyard. I know my little ones would adore this.
Now, does anybody have a spare boat?

Here’s a great little DIY placemat or play-mat that your little ones can get involved with. These are a such a fab idea for a unique little gift.
We love the example below for little boys. The possibilities are endless. You could keep extending the playmat by adding new roads, places, etc. You could even create one big playmat, personalised by your little one for your little one!

Here is another fabulous storage idea for your little ones.
Transform the humble fruit crate into a portable little toy box. This looks fantastic and is just so unique. Best thing is your little one will get so much use out of this as they get older.
If you like getting your hands dirty, head on over to Upcycle101 for details on how to complete this project. Or even better, just print out and hand to hubby!
….. Now to get a hold of a fruit crate and make some time for hubby to complete this little project.
